A mathematical modeling based on Markov chain to determine the probability of success related to an innovation process is presented. Based on the auto-evaluation of a particular user and certain innovation stages proposed, the mathematical model allows to calculate the transition probability of each stage for any period (step) in order to enhance the resource management. The simulation results show an adequate and logical performance of the innovation process for different auto-evaluation scores in order to accelerate the innovation process without diminishing the probability of success.es_ES
