Abstract

En esta primera parte del artículo, el Dr. Ignacio nos explica el significado y origen de los Incoterms, así como su importancia a través de la serie de funciones que tienen, y en específico nos habla a detalle sobre su versión mas actual que son los Incoterms 2020. Nos detalla cual fue su clasificación, mencionándonos que se divide en 3 categorias relacionadas con el tipo de transporte y las responsabilidades que se tienen tanto como para el comprador como para el vendedor. El autor también nos comparte los dos grupos en que se presentan los 11 acrónimos de los Incoterms publicados por la Cámara de Comercio Internacional correspondientes a su última versión, además, nos habla sobre los diversos momentos que intervienen cuando se realiza una compraventa internacional y lo importante que es la aplicación de los Incoterms en este tipo de operaciones, para lo cual explica y describe 5 distintos procesos, asi como los documentos comerciales que gestiona cada parte, los cuales se deben presentar para llevar a cabo dichos procedimientos. / ABSTRAC In this first part of the article, Dr. Ignacio explains the meaning and origin of Incoterms, as well as their importance through the series of functions they have, and specifically tells us in detail about their most current version, which are the Incoterms 2020. It details what its classification was, mentioning that it is divided into 3 categories related to the type of transport and the responsibilities that are had for both the buyer and the seller. The author also shares with us the two groups in which the 11 acronyms of the Incoterms published by the International Chamber of Commerce corresponding to its latest version are presented, in addition, he tells us about the various moments that intervene when an international sale is made and the important which is the application of the Incoterms in this type of operations, for which it explains and describes 5 different processes, as well as the commercial documents that each party manages, which must be presented to carry out said procedures.
